Pianist Claire Huangci casts a spell in the magical Grotto with her performances of Scarlatti Sonatas taken from her new CD. Chopin is a mainstay of Claire’s repertoire and she is much in demand as a first prize winner of the Chopin Competition. Chopin was still composing in Paris when the French composer Gabriel Fauré was born. Fauré’s Quartet for piano and strings reminds us of the extreme beauty of hearing French Romantic music in the Grotto.
